1 ) Place the bones into the pot
2 ) Add the chopped onions and other root vegetables
3 ) Add half a cup of apple cider vinegar (this will leech the minerals out of the bones)
4 ) Add bay leaves
5) Next, add salt, pepper and herbs or when ready to serve
6) now add the water to cover the ingredients. Allow the water to boil. Reduce heat and simmer for 12 – 48 hours.
7) Strain and serve
8) Can be stored in glass jars in the fridge for 3 days or freeze for up to 3 months.
